The AM2302 is a wired version of this DHT22, housed in a plastic body. Its a simple, cheap digital temperature and humidity detector. It utilizes a capacitive humidity sensor along with a thermistor to measure the ambient atmosphere and spits out an electronic signal on the data trap where no analog input hooks required. Its rather easy to use, but requires careful time to catch data. The sole downside of the sensor is that can just acquire new data out of it every 2 minutes, so when utilizing our library, sensor readings may be as many as 2 minutes old.
